Senior E-Commerce Full Stack Software Engineer
Location: Bradford (Hybrid - x2 a week onsite in Central Bradford)

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior E-Commerce Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimise secure, high-performing B2C websites and shopping apps that deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth.

You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including CRO and digital analytics analysts, SEO specialists, UX designers, and digital experience owners to build and maintain responsive, scalable solutions that integrate seamlessly with back-end services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and personalisation experiments (A/B tests).
  • Implement SEO features and optimise web performance for speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Build and maintain secure, high-performance websites and apps using HTML5, CSS, jQuery, ASP.NET, and cross-platform frameworks such as Apache Cordova and Ionic.
  • Ensure compliance with UK regulations including UK-GDPR, PCI-DSS, and security best practices.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute technical insights to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Stay up to date with emerging e-commerce technologies and industry trends.
What We’re Looking For
  • 10+ years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in a full stack role.
  • Proven track record in building scalable, secure transactional e-commerce websites.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as AngularJS and jQuery.
  • Experience with ASP.NET, .NET, and back-end languages like C# or Java.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing technologies (Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target) and performance optimisation techniques.
  • Understanding of security best practices against vulnerabilities such as CSRF, XSS, and SQL injection.
Desirable:
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines).
  • Knowledge of digital merchandising and UK retail market e-commerce systems.
