We're recruiting for a C# Software Developer to join our client's software development team. You must have strong C# development, APIs, Razor pages, .Net Core and SQL Server experience.

The C# Software Developer will work as part of a team both expanding and ensuring the smooth running of the company’s bespoke in-house solutions.

In collaboration with the software development team, you will deliver software engineering solutions using cutting edge technology.
You will design, build and support in-line with the company’s objectives, which is to provide exceptional customer service supported with the best use of technology.

Their bespoke solutions are a key USP in providing excellent customer service for them and this role is integral to their continued success and growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain IT solutions in C#, ASP.NET MVC, Bootstrap, jQuery, web services and SQL Server.
  • Propose, design and implement new applications using C# (.NET 6/7), Razor pages and minimal APIs.
  • Build unit tests using NUnit and Moq and be comfortable using GIT for source control.
  • Both existing apps and future developments will use SQL Server, including stored procedures and functions. Exposure to TSQL is a must.
Required Skills And Experience
  • Proven C# development experience.
  • Experience in building and consuming web APIs and microservices.
  • Strong experience in software design and best practices such as OWASP and SOLID principles.
  • Knowledgeable about security principles and integrations with OAuth2 and Azure AD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ideal skill set and candidate;
  • Modern C# based skills, Razor pages; APIs; very proficient in MS SQL server etc.
  • Complete SDLC experience, someone who is used to talking to stakeholders when needed; converting business requirements to technical ones; coding; testing etc.
  • someone who works well in a team: collaborating on projects; feeding into standards; active in code reviews; reviewing other devs work from a coaching and feedback perspective etc.
  • They have a lot of new, large projects coming up. You must excited by building modern applications from the ground up that will deliver real business benefit.
  • They have a very good team dynamic at the moment, everyone gets on very well, help each other out, friendly etc. Team and culture fit is very important.
This is a 100% remote role, however, you must be based in the UK (due to the nature of the projects you will work on) and not be needing sponsorship, as sponsorship is not provided.
