Solutions Architect - Hybrid Manchester - up to £63K basic + Fantastic Benefits 

We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to join a leading organisation based in Manchester.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing IT solutions that align with organisational strategy, governance, and architecture principles.

This role requires someone with a strong background in operational architecture and extensive experience working within enterprise architecture environments in medium to large organisations.

You will work collaboratively with various architecture areas, including Technical and Information Architecture, to deliver solution architectures that meet business objectives.

The role will also involve the development of both infrastructure and applications architecture, ensuring solutions adhere to guiding design principles, including Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).

Responsibilities include:
· Designing and implementing high-level IT solutions.
· Collaborating with other architecture areas (Technical, Information) to deliver integrated solutions that meet business goals.
· Develop infrastructure and applications architectures based on guiding design principles, including SOA.
· Leading the implementation of IT applications in a complex multi-vendor environment.
· Reviewing and approving technical specifications and tender responses from third-party vendors.

We are looking for people with:
· Proven experience as a Solutions Architect with a strong background in operational architecture.
· Significant experience working in an enterprise architecture environment within medium to large organisations.
· Experience developing infrastructure and applications architecture, ideally any experience in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) would be preferred.
· Knowledge of relevant national and international industry standards, such as TOGAF, UML, etc.
