Exalto Consulting are currently recruiting for a Senior / Principal Infrastructure Engineer for a client based in central Liverpool. For this opportunity you will need to be SC Cleared or able to pass SC Clearance.
The client is looking for someone willing to do hybrid working and come to the office 2-3 days a week. This role is paying up to £77K max for someone with all the experience so a great basic salary on offer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide robust, secure, scalable infrastructure support.
- Bridge the gap between Platform and Product teams.
- Develop and share best practices, offering training and guidance.
- Lead major incident management and technical problem resolution.
- Conduct regular system reviews, audits, and implement improvements.
- Ensure disaster recovery plans are regularly tested and effective.
- Maintain high standards of system availability and security.
The successful candidate will be pivotal in maintaining and advancing the company’s core platform, delivering products worldwide. The focus of the role is broad, ensuring that the Platform and systems operate at optimal levels, owning technical problems and coordinating the resolution of complex technical issues.
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive experience in infrastructure management and technical leadership.
- Proficiency with Windows, Active Directory, Virtualisation, Storage, and Security systems.
- Experience in IT Infrastructure Solutions design, development, and implementation.
- Familiarity with ISO27k, CE+, PCI DSS, and other accreditations.
- Proven track record in managing secure environments, such as police or defence sectors.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior technical role.
