Exalto Consulting are recruiting for a Senior IT Project Manager for a growing organisation in Stockport.

This a hybrid role with 2 days per week on-site in Stockport, so candidates will need to be based locally, they will not unfortunately consider relocators and they cannot provide sponsorship at this time.

You will work on the company's Project Management Governance to ensure that all assigned projects are progressed appropriately through all phases (scoping phase to project closure).
Engage with key project stakeholders and teams to develop, manage and
maintain project documentation.
Developing and implementing a strategy to deliver COTS solutions to address the needs of the business strategy. 
Manage the cloud solution development, including hosting and implementation of tasks across the lifecycle of cloud managed services, to include managing the work of architects, engineers and vendors.

Essentially this role will be working on moving the company's systems from on Prem to the cloud (AWS), so you must have previous experience of migrating systems to the cloud.

Projects such as COTS, Laboratory Systems, IT systems, finance, payroll etc.

You MUST have the below;
Hold a recognised qualification in Project Management methodology (e.g. PRINCE2).
Experience of working with commercial off-the-shelf products (COTS).
Experience of working within ISO (or similar) quality systems (ISO9001, 27001).
On-Premise to Cloud migration experience, ideally with AWS.
Have experience of working in at least one of the following sectors - Life Science, Genomics, Research, Health Research, Healthcare, Pharma, Academia, Charity.

They need someone to be flexible, roll their sleaves up and get stuck in and who is used to working in unstructured environments as some processes haven't evolved at the same pace of growth as the company.
You need to be comfortable with regular change.
