Location: Manchester - on site 2-3 days p/w 
Salary: £45,546 + Excellent Pension

About the Role:
As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of delivering key projects within a policing environment. You’ll provide expert business analysis services, overseeing BA teams and contractors, while managing a diverse portfolio of projects. Your role will be critical in shaping strategic change initiatives, ensuring that business requirements are effectively captured, and measurable benefits are delivered.

Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the business analysis function across a range of projects, ensuring successful delivery.
· Supervise and manage BA teams, including external contractors and senior suppliers.
· Apply a wide array of business analysis tools and techniques to drive change.
· Elicit and document business requirements, creating comprehensive work packages and plans.
· Measure and quantify both financial and non-financial benefits of projects.
· Implement and monitor quality assurance measures to maintain service standards.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

What We’re Looking For:
· Qualifications: Degree in any discipline or equivalent experience. Formal business analysis, project management (e.g., PRINCE2), and ITIL Foundation V4 certifications are required.
· Experience: Extensive experience managing the business analyst function, with proven success in staff management and project delivery. You’ll also have a track record of working in a policing environment.
· Knowledge: A strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, budget preparation, and the application of IT theory within policing.
· Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. You’ll also have solid IT skills with proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.
