About the role
Exalto Consulting is supporting a large, complex organisation delivering a critical Day-1 readiness programme across Finance and Commercial operations.
This work sits within a highly regulated, service-driven environment where continuity, accountability and operational stability are essential. The focus is on ensuring that key finance and commercial functions are fully prepared to operate effectively from Day-1.
We are looking for a Project Manager who can bring structure, clarity and control to a multi-workstream delivery, ensuring that plans are realistic, dependencies are understood, and outcomes are achieved.
What you’ll be doing
You will take ownership of planning and driving delivery across the Finance / Commercial workstream, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing an integrated Day-1 delivery plan across finance and commercial activities
- Coordinating multiple teams and suppliers to ensure alignment and steady progress
- Managing risks, issues, and dependencies in a structured and proactive way
- Supporting governance processes, ensuring clear and timely reporting to stakeholders
- Maintaining focus on operational readiness, ensuring services can transition smoothly into Day-1
Your role will focus on creating clarity, reducing delivery risk and ensuring readiness.
Key outputs include:
- Integrated Day-1 Delivery Plan
A clear, joined-up plan covering milestones, dependencies and critical activities - Risk, Issue and Dependency Management
Transparent tracking and active management of delivery risks and interdependencies - Governance and Reporting
Consistent, structured reporting to support oversight and decision-making - Operational Readiness Coordination
Ensuring finance and commercial functions are prepared to operate reliably from Day-1
We’re looking for a delivery-focused Project Manager who is comfortable working in structured, accountable environments.
You will bring:
- Experience delivering programmes within complex, regulated, or service-led organisations
- Strong planning and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Confidence working within governance frameworks and producing clear reporting
- Proven experience managing risks, issues, and dependencies effectively
- The ability to work collaboratively across teams, building alignment and maintaining delivery momentum
