Project Manager (EUC/IT Services)

Role: Permanent
Salary: up to £60,000
Location: London (Hybrid – occasional onsite presence in Waterloo/Victoria)

About the role

Exalto Consulting is supporting a programme focused on delivering a seamless Day-1 experience across end-user services. This role will lead the planning and execution of key readiness activities, ensuring that services are stable, coordinated and ready for users from the outset.

You will work across multiple service areas, including EUC, IT Services, Print and Insights & Analytics, bringing teams and suppliers together around a clear, shared delivery plan. The focus is on clarity, control and outcomes, ensuring that what needs to be ready on Day-1 is delivered on time and without unnecessary complexity.

What you will be responsible for

Integrated Day-1 Delivery Plan
Create and maintain a single, coherent delivery plan that sets out milestones, dependencies, and the critical path to Day-1 readiness. Ensure all teams are aligned and working to the same priorities.

Risk, Issue, Dependency and Assurance Management
Actively manage risks, issues, and dependencies. Provide clear visibility and take early action to mitigate challenges, avoiding last-minute surprises and unnecessary cost.

Delivery Governance and Reporting
Provide structured, consistent reporting that gives stakeholders a clear view of readiness, confidence levels, and where decisions or interventions are needed.

Controlled Mobilisation and Execution
Coordinate the mobilisation of internal teams and external suppliers. Keep delivery focused on what is essential for Day-1, ensuring effort is directed where it has the greatest impact.

What we are looking for
  • Proven experience delivering operational readiness, stabilisation, or transition programmes in complex environments
  • Strong track record of managing dependencies, risks, and multi-supplier delivery
  • Ability to identify and address issues early, maintaining control through to delivery
  • Confidence working within structured governance while keeping pace and momentum
  • Experience bringing together multi-disciplinary teams to deliver time-critical outcomes
What matters in this role

This role requires someone who can bring structure without slowing delivery, and who understands the importance of Day-1 from a user perspective. Success will be measured by readiness, stability, and the absence of avoidable disruption—not just by delivery against a plan.
