The Project Manager will need to have strong experience delivering technology change projects and must have strong experience of replacing and implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions.
This is a 7 / 8 month contract role, that may extend beyond and is offered on a hybrid basis, with 1-2 days a week on site at the client's offices in Hampshire.
The Project Manager will be accountable for managing a new project – a multi-year programme of work to ensure the long-term viability, security and efficient operation of the technology services which underpin the client's delivery to both customers and employees.
The project scope includes the implementation of a replacement backup and disaster recovery solution within the Technology department and supporting business change activities.
You must have;
- Proven experience of managing complex Projects to time cost and quality criteria.
- Excellent track record of delivering technology driven projects in complex delivery environments and ability to demonstrate credibility with colleagues and senior stakeholders.
- Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address all levels within the organisation.
- Ability to adapt communication styles with different project teams and stakeholders, conveying complex technical information in simple terms.
- Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects.
- Self-Starter, taking initiative and leaning in to support the delivery of project outcomes
Essential skills:
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Project, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Administration of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint sites.
- Practitioner level qualification in Project Management (eg: APM PMQ, Prince2).
- Fluent English.
- Experience in delivering technology change projects.
