About the Role
You will provide day to day support to ensure the smooth operation of governance processes across a variety of programmes and projects. This includes advising on the preparation of business cases and supporting strategic decision-making through the production and analysis of reports and documentation. You will engage with senior stakeholders, coordinate complex governance activity and ensure compliance with internal frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide governance and administrative support to programme and project boards
  • Advise on the preparation of business cases, reports and proposals
  • Coordinate review processes and summarise feedback for strategic meetings
  • Ensure compliance with investment and governance procedures
  • Analyse project and financial data to inform decision-making
  • Maintain project documentation including risk logs, plans and resource profiles
  • Support internal assurance and audit activity
  • Identify and improve governance and reporting processes
About You

You will have:
  • Proven experience supporting projects or programmes in a busy, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting complex information clearly
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Project
Ideally, you will also hold or be working towards a relevant qualification such as PRINCE2, MSP or P3O, though equivalent experience will be considered.

Why Apply
This is a chance to play a pivotal role in delivering meaningful change. You will join a collaborative team, gain exposure to a wide range of strategic activity and have opportunities for development and progression.
