We are looking for an experienced Client Engagement Lead with a strong IT sourcing and vendor management background to lead complex consulting engagements and support the growth of client accounts within a digital and IT transformation consultancy.
This role combines hands-on delivery, senior stakeholder engagement, and commercial account growth, working closely with client leadership teams to deliver high-impact outcomes.
The Role
You will take ownership of client engagements from discovery through delivery, acting as a trusted advisor while ensuring programmes are delivered to time, quality and commercial objectives. Responsibilities include:
- Leading IT sourcing initiatives, from supplier renegotiation through to full RFPs
- Managing and engaging with tier-1 system integrators and offshore vendors
- Delivering consulting-led transformation programmes across IT and digital functions
- Supporting operating model, service integration and service management initiatives
- Managing senior stakeholders and guiding clients through complex decision-making
- Growing existing client accounts through high-quality delivery and trusted relationships
- Contributing to wider business development and account strategy
- Strong IT sourcing and vendor management experience
- Proven consulting and programme delivery experience, particularly within transformation
- Demonstrable track record of growing client accounts and revenue
- Able to travel regularly to a West London client site.
- 10+ years' experience in consulting or advisory roles
- Deep experience leading IT sourcing activities and supplier negotiations
- Strong background in IT vendor management, including complex supplier ecosystems
- Experience delivering digital change and IT transformation programmes
- Strong understanding of modern service management practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable working independently and leading teams
