Digital Support Operator (Hardware Focused) 
Location: Manchester
Salary: £30k – £34k per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Eligible to go through Clearance Checks 

We’re seeking a proactive Digital Support Operator to provide second-line technical support within a busy IT and Digital environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining digital communications and interview equipment, ensuring reliability, security and excellent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 2nd-line technical support for digital communications systems and devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware configuration issues.
  • Manage user access rights, system audits and security processes.
  • Plan and carry out installations, repairs and maintenance of digital equipment.
  • Liaise with suppliers and partners to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Maintain clear records and update technical documentation.
  • Communicate technical details clearly to non-technical users.
About You
  • Experience in IT systems administration and incident management.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune and digital communications hardware.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, organisation and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally.
  • Participation in an on-call rota may be required.
Desirable
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
  • Experience with Azure, Airwave or Sepura Radio Manager.
