About the Role
Exalto Consulting are working with a client on a large-scale enterprise security and privileged access management programme and are looking to bring in an experienced CyberArk Operations Engineer.
This is a hands-on operational role focused on supporting and maintaining a complex CyberArk privileged access management environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of privileged access services across the organisation.
Working within a matrix organisation, you’ll collaborate with infrastructure, security, and support teams to manage daily CyberArk operations, troubleshoot privileged access issues, and support ongoing operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the CyberArk environment
- Administer privileged accounts, safes, users, and platforms
- Support password vaulting and credential management processes
- Monitor and support session management activities
- Onboard servers, applications, and accounts into CyberArk
- Troubleshoot access issues, password rotation failures, and vault-related problems
- Perform routine health checks, monitoring, and maintenance
- Maintain security policies, privileged access controls, and compliance requirements
- Document onboarding steps, operational procedures, and support activities
- Work effectively in a matrix organisation with cross-functional teams
- Support incident, problem, change, and capacity management processes
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience in CyberArk administration and operations
- Strong understanding of privileged access management (PAM) concepts
- Experience with password vaulting, session management, and account onboarding
- Familiarity with CyberArk safes, platforms, users, and access policies
- Experience troubleshooting access issues and password management failures
- Understanding of Windows and Linux environments
- Experience working within ITIL-based support environments and ITSM tools
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively within a matrix organisation
